Rob Reeleder, Founder and CEO
Born and raised in North Bay, Ontario, Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and an Institute of Corporate Directors Designation (ICD.D) from The Beedie School of Business from Simon Fraser University.
Twenty years ago, Rob founded Western Protection Alliance Inc. (Western). Since 1994, Western has assisted organizations prepare for and operate during emergency and crisis situations. The company evolved to additionally become a Canada-wide risk management firm assisting in the areas of first aid and security for projects in Aboriginal territories. Rob holds multiple security designations in multiple jurisdictions across Canada and is widely considered a security expert in industrial risk management.
Rob continues to lead Western in its pursuit of ‘best-in-class’ safety and security for the mining, oil and gas, and heavy industrial sectors throughout Canada. In addition, Rob has had the privilege to assist building economic and human resource capacity within Aboriginal communities by bridging the gap between those communities and the extractive industries.
Rob travels extensively and has fostered key relationships across Canada. Rob lives in the Lower Mainland, B.C.
