Executive Leadership

Rob Reeleder, President and CEO

Born and raised in North Bay, Ontario, Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, and a Corporate Directors Designation (ICD.D) from The Institute of Corporate Directors.

Rob founded Western Protection Alliance Inc. over 26 years ago. Since 1994, Western has assisted organizations in preparing for and operating during emergency and crisis situations. Western evolved to become a Canada-wide risk management firm assisting in the areas of labour dispute management, security and first aid.

Rob continues to lead Western in its pursuit of best-in-class security and safety for the mining, oil and gas, and heavy industrial sectors throughout Canada.

Jamie Rogers, Vice-President of Operations

Jamie has been working with Western for over 20 years. Starting in the field, he specialized in evidence-gathering and coordinating security details for injunctive relief in many high-profile labour disruptions across Canada. Jamie has assisted numerous prominent firms throughout his tenure, successfully leading security audits and external threat assessments.

Jamie now directs the operational management of Western’s field staff across Canada, and is usually first on the ground for new deployments and contract start-ups.


Field Operations

Field Operations Management

Our Field Operations Managers provide regional oversight and client support, interfacing between our field personnel, client site management and Western’s head office. As a team, our Operations Managers have extensive combined experience in first response, military, law enforcement, asset protection, investigation, and negotiation.

Labour Dispute Management

Our Labour Dispute Management team integrates with Field Operations Management to ensure the successful implementation of strike management services. Their historical knowledge and experience in labour dispute management informs the overall strategy and response methodology in each labour dispute or strike situation.
