Born and raised in North Bay, Ontario, Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, and a Corporate Directors Designation (ICD.D) from The Institute of Corporate Directors.
Rob founded Western Protection Alliance Inc. over 25 years ago. Since 1994, Western has assisted organizations in preparing for and operating during emergency and crisis situations. Western evolved to become a Canada-wide risk management firm assisting in the areas of labour dispute management, and first aid and security for projects throughout Canada.
Rob continues to lead Western in its pursuit of ‘best-in-class’ safety and security for the mining, oil and gas, and heavy industrial sectors throughout Canada. In addition, Rob has had the privilege to assist in building economic and human resource capacity within Indigenous communities by bridging the gap between those communities and the extractive industries. Rob holds multiple security designations across Canada and is widely considered a security expert in industrial risk management.
